Adding A Touch Of Class: RSL Art Union Prize Home In Bilinga, Gold Coast
We recently helped build a beautiful double-prize home on the Gold Coast beachfront for the RSL Art Union, Australia’s largest prize home lottery service.
The project, which involved the construction and fitment of two villas overlooking the Gold Coast beach, was an inspiring project for us at Aluminium Balustrades because we got to work on something truly beautiful and truly showcase what we can do.
The two gorgeous twin villas are collectively valued at about $3.7-million ‒ a handsome prize for whoever is lucky enough to win it ‒ and we are proud to have played an instrumental part in creating them.
About The Project
The dual villas are located on the Bilinga beachfront, with only a small garden and a few bushes separating them from the beach. Both three-storey villas, which are identical mirror images of one another, feature an unobstructed view of the ocean from the upper floors.
Each of the two villas covers 326 m2, with each unit containing five spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a double garage, a laundry room, a living area, a kitchen and more.
The design of the villas was commissioned by RSL Art Union, purpose-built for the lottery, which means it was designed to be as appealing and beautiful as possible so that it would be a most desirable prize.
What Did We Do?
For this picturesque seaside villa, we applied our expertise to provide window hoods, glass balustrades, privacy screens, feature battens, fencing, sliding gates and louvred gates.
All of these expertly made fitments and installations were professionally put in place to add not only superior functionality but also to complement the two villas’ aesthetics and turn them into something truly memorable.
The glass balustrades that we installed are perfect for an oceanside villa as they provide an unobstructed view of the sea. Moreover, tempered glass is immune to rust and moisture damage, which makes it perfect for seaside living owing to the higher humidity and moisture levels in the air.
Our powder-coated aluminium balustrade frames and brackets not only look fantastic but will be sure to last for ages without corroding or rusting in the salty air.
