The Project
Located in Bulimba, the apartment development features a contemporary architectural design with a strong focus on outdoor spaces and clean, curved lines. The aluminium elements needed to complement the building’s exterior while creating a consistent finish across several different areas of the property.
Vertical aluminium battens were selected to provide structure and definition without making the building feel enclosed. The finished result gives the exterior a distinct architectural character while also supporting the practical requirements of a multi residential development.
The Work We Did
One of the most prominent aspects of our work was the façade screening installed across multiple levels of the building. The vertically arranged battens form a striking feature against the white exterior, adding contrast, depth, and visual interest. Their placement also helps provide additional privacy while retaining airflow and natural light.
Our team also supplied and installed aluminium fencing around the ground level areas and property boundaries. The fence design continues the vertical lines used throughout the façade screens, creating a cohesive appearance across the development. Careful attention was given to spacing, alignment, and installation to ensure the fencing worked with the architecture rather than feeling like a separate addition.
Additional batten screening was installed along the driveway and ramp areas, helping to define access points and improve privacy between the development and neighbouring construction.
To complete the scope, Aluminium Balustrades supplied and installed booster gates around the hydrant booster area. These gates provide secure access to essential building services while maintaining the same dark aluminium finish and vertical batten design used throughout the property.
