Elevating Ventura Residences, Mermaid Beach
Recently, Aluminium Balustrades was called upon to provide several crucial finishing touches for an illustrious residential apartment project in Mermaid Beach. This beautiful new residential apartment project required metalwork finishes, such as balustrades and facades, that not only ensured safety but also added to its unique aesthetic appeal.
What Was The Project?
Starting in September 2022, building contractor Hutchinson Builders began work on the developer Niecon’s boutique Ventura Residences apartment block, situated at 48 Ventura Road in Mermaid Beach, Queensland.
Designed by award-winning architectural firm Archidiom Design, the carefully crafted residential apartment project maximises the subtropical location, seamlessly blending with the surrounding environment and gorgeous views.
The project consists of 45 spacious apartments with views of either the coast or the city skyline. It is located about 250m from the beach in one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods on the Gold Coast.
Given the prestige of this high-value project, it is no surprise that Aluminium Balustrades was brought on board to contribute some of the finishing touches to further set this development apart.
What Did Aluminium Balustrades Contribute?
Aluminium Balustrades, renowned for our expertise in metalwork, was entrusted with supplying and installing key architectural elements throughout the building.
Among our contributions was the installation of a stunning timber-look facade, meticulously crafted to blend the structure seamlessly into the picturesque backdrop of subtropical coastal beauty surrounding it. This facade not only enhances the building’s aesthetic appeal but also offers a low-maintenance alternative to real timber, thereby ensuring long-lasting charm.
In addition to the facade, we implemented an Invisi-Gard fire protection fence, strategically positioned to safeguard against potential fire hazards without compromising the visual integrity of the surroundings.
Complementing these safety measures, we provided sleek glass balustrades and louvred screens, carefully designed to optimise both transparency and privacy while allowing for ample airflow and natural light infusion.
To further enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the Ventura project, Aluminium Balustrades also furnished stainless steel grab rails for added support, along with a bin enclosure to discreetly house waste receptacles, ensuring a harmonious blend of practicality and elegance throughout the building’s exterior.
