New Facade At 62 High Street In Toowong
Aluminium Balustrades was called on to provide a gorgeous facade upgrade for a residential apartment building at 62 High Street in Toowong, Queensland.
Designed by architectural firm Arch Interiors and built by construction company Enixr Built, the project required some finishing touches to deliver a look and feel that elevated the design, making the apartments feel fresh and modern.
Not only does the facade create a beautiful exterior, making the residential apartment block stand out to all who pass by, but it also enhances the experience for occupants, who can now enjoy better views and a sense of having more airy and spacious units.
Thanks to our efforts, the apartments now have increased property values and rental rates.
The Facades
The original facades created a much more closed-in feeling, blocking a lot of light and air. The result was a somewhat outdated and claustrophobic feel that made the apartments less desirable.
Therefore, to maximise the view and create a much more spacious and inviting atmosphere, the facades that we provided were made of thinner and more widely spaced mullions.
The facades also doubled as balustrades for apartment balconies. Rather than covering the full height of the balcony as before, which contributed to the claustrophobic feel, this Balustrade is RPEQ Engineered and meets regulation codes as well as aesthetic in design.
