Compliance and warranty
All warranty powder coating performed by SPC onsite complies with the Australian Standard of AS3715. This is a requirement for all commercial buildings of four stories or higher. Balustrade systems that require components to be cut and put together onsite for installation also require raw cut edges to be treated for the warranty to be in effect. Having SPC onsite means that your products will be treated beforehand with a valid warranty.
Quality control
Ensuring peace of mind on your project, SPC and Aluminium Balustrades complete all warranty applications and quality assurance requirements for submission with the powder supplier. Test panels are run with each oven, tested, and stored onsite. SPC houses some of the largest pre-treatment tanks in the industry, which allows us to pre-treat all components in any shape or size on-premise before arriving on the construction site. In addition, we engage the professional and independent chemical company, Henkel, to perform fortnightly audits of acid, chromate, and water quality.
Care and maintenance advice
With proper care and maintenance, you can extend the effective life of your powder-coated surfaces. Sunlight exposure, together with pollution, grime, dirt, and salt deposits can all have a cumulative effect on your powder-coated surfaces. We recommend that general cleaning be carried out every 6 months, or every 3 months in coastal areas where pollutants and salty air are more prevalent.
